Day 1: Arrival in Quito, Ecuador

  • Attend a welcome meeting with your group and local leader in the evening.

  • Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring traditional Ecuadorian cuisine.

  • Overnight stay at a hotel in Quito.

Day 2: Quito to Isla Santa Cruz, Galapagos

  • Early morning transfer to Quito Airport with boxed breakfast.

  • Flight to the Galapagos, stopping briefly in Guayaquil.

  • Upon arrival, meet your naturalist guide and transfer by bus and ferry to Isla Santa Cruz.

  • Board the M/Y Grand Queen Beatriz and settle into your cabin.

  • Afternoon visit to the highlands of Santa Cruz to see giant tortoises in the wild and explore misty forests.

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board.

Day 3: Isla Santa Fe and Isla Plaza Sur

  • Morning snorkel with sea lions at Isla Santa Fe.

  • Hiking along coastal trails under opuntia forests and observation of the endemic land iguanas and other wildlife.

  • Sail to Isla Plaza Sur for a 2-hour guided walk along trails, spotting sea lions, land iguanas, tropicbirds, and swallow-tailed gulls.

  • Overnight sail to Isla Espanola.

  • Full day of wildlife discovery and varied terrain.

Day 4: Isla Espanola – Punta Suarez and Bahia Gardner

  • Morning hike to Punta Suarez to view sea lions, marine iguanas, booby colonies, and waved albatross courtship rituals.

  • Afternoon snorkeling at Bahia Gardner beach with reef sharks, turtles, and colorful tropical fish.

  • Evening walk along Bahia Gardner’s white sandy beach.

  • Sail overnight to Punta Pitt, Isla San Cristobal.

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board.

Day 5: Isla San Cristobal – Punta Pitt, Kicker Rock, and Isla Lobos

  • Morning walk to the top of Punta Pitt for sunrise views and seabird watching (blue-footed boobies, frigates).

  • Circumnavigate Kicker Rock (Leon Dormido) by boat to observe marine iguanas, tropicbirds, and sea lions.

  • Visit Isla Lobos to observe sea lion colonies and birdlife.

  • Overnight sail to Puerto Baquerizo, San Cristobal.

  • Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner on board.

Day 6: San Cristobal – Interpretation Center and return to Quito

  • Visit the San Cristobal Interpretation Center to learn about Galapagos’ geology, history, and conservation efforts.

  • Morning flight back to Quito with a stopover in Guayaquil.

  • Optional farewell dinner with the group in Quito.

Day 7: Departure
